What Itally was and what it will become

We have decided to rethink our projects and we have reinvented ourselves, as have so many of the businesses in the fashion world.

Itally was conceived from the desire to promote Made in Italy abroad, with a storytelling project aimed at taking Italian fashion and craftsmanship around the world.

To do this, we wanted to use a fashion truck packed with the products, experiences and stories of those who use their hands to create beautiful things every day.

Our road trip was to have stopped in different cities around the world, recounting Made in Italy in a way that would be completely different, and documenting the entire journey on social networks. According to the logbook, our adventure should have started in sunny California in a few months’ time.

Unfortunately, preparations for departure were abruptly interrupted by the Covid-19 emergency, which made it impossible for us to implement the project in the time and manner intended.

But do not fear!

Our enthusiasm and our will to support Made in Italy have not been affected by this unexpected event. Indeed, now more than ever, our goal remains to help and promote the work of the many artisans, creatives and small and medium-sized fashion companies that are facing the crisis with determination and tenacity, relying solely on their creativity.

We have therefore decided to rethink our projects and we have reinvented ourselves, as have so many of the businesses in the fashion world that are currently adapting to altered production rhythms and a complex rebooting of production in a market that has abruptly changed its logic.

Itally has thus changed its form to become an online shop designed to promote and sell the products of creatives and artisans who, in this difficult time, are exploring new opportunities to tackle the future.

It will be a showcase for all the Made in Italy businesses that have not given in to the difficulties but have reinvented themselves and rethought their products and which, as never before, deserve visibility and scope for their creativity.
